Waterville Students Give Back Over Spring Recess


Waterville students “egg-celled” at community service over spring recess, helping the local public library with a community celebration.

Members of the National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society recently dedicated their time to making a difference in the community. Over the break, these student volunteers assisted the Waterville Public Library with their annual Easter Egg Hunt for young children, creating a memorable experience.

Students volunteered their time to help prepare for the event and also assisted on the day of. 

“The students were so excited to volunteer for this event, and they look forward to adding this to our list of community service projects,” National Junior Honor Society Advisor Gina Rocci. 

Waterville Jr./Sr. High School continues to encourage community engagement among its students, reinforcing the value of leadership, service, and academic excellence. The success of the Easter Egg Hunt is just one example of the impact that dedicated young people can have on their community.
