On May 20, Waterville students Logan Roberts, Noah Jandreau, and Caleb Rotach presented an educational session on “The Importance of Animal Agriculture” to elementary students in the Mohawk Valley.

Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive discussions, Roberts, Jandreau, and Rotach highlighted the essential role of animal agriculture in sustaining communities, providing food, and supporting the local economy.
“We wanted to inspire other students to appreciate where their food comes from and understand that animals can graze and turn forages that are not edible for humans into useful products,” said Logan Roberts.
Hosted at Dinnitto Farm in Marcy, this annual event serves as an opportunity to connect young learners with the world of farming and food production.
