Young voices will take center stage at Memorial Park Elementary School (MPS). The MPS Prize Speaking Competition returns Nov. 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the MPS Gymnasium. This annual event showcases the public speaking talents of MPS students as they deliver recitations in front of their peers, families and community members.
In addition to celebrating student voices, this year’s event will support the Waterville Food Pantry. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to help families in need during the upcoming holiday season.
“The students have been working hard to prepare and are excited to share their voices with the community,” said Karen Fox, MPS Prize Speaking Advisor.
