I grew up in Oneida, NY and graduated from Oneida High School. I continued my education at SUNY Geneseo and graduated with a degree in English Literature. From there, I decided I wanted to be a teacher so I attended SUNY Binghamton and graduated with two masters degrees. One in English Literature and one in Teaching.
I started teaching at Waterville in September 1989 and have been here since. I have taught eighth grade for all of the years I have been here, but I have also enjoyed teaching an assortment of other English classes at the high school level, as well.
Some of my interests and hobbies include; reading (of course!), walking, bicycling, kayaking, and gardening. I live in Oneida, NY with my husband and three very adorable cats, Lucy, Eve and Holly.
