Message from the Principal

Waterville Jr./Sr. High School is excited to present this Program of Studies as a valuable resource for
students and families to guide their educational planning. During the spring semester, our counselors
will be connecting with students to select courses and develop personalized academic plans for the
upcoming school year. We encourage parents and guardians to actively engage in this process and if
you have questions, please reach out to the appropriate school counselor.

This Program of Studies also provides students with a detailed overview of the academic
opportunities, clubs, and activities available to them. In addition, we’ve designed support programs to
ensure all students thrive in their educational journey.

Counselors will review graduation requirements with students, helping them connect their course
selections to their interests and potential career paths. All students in grades 9-12 are required to
enroll in at least 5.5 credits unless there are extenuating circumstances.

At Waterville Jr./Sr. High School, our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to supporting students
academically, socially, and emotionally, empowering them to achieve their full potential. Together, we
will continue to provide exceptional curricular and cocurricular opportunities that enhance the student experience.

We look forward to collaborating with our students and families as we uphold Waterville’s tradition of
excellence in education. As outlined in our mission, Waterville CSD, in partnership with students, staff,
families and the community, is dedicated to educating the whole-child for personalized success. Let’s
continue imagining, designing, and creating the best futures together.
