Waterville CSD Opens School Board Candidate Petition Period
The Waterville Central School District has opened the petition period for community members interested in running for a seat on the Board of Education. Qualified district residents may contact the Office of the District Clerk to obtain the required nominating petition. All completed petitions must be filed with the District Clerk.
Petitions are available at the District Clerk’s Office Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. This year, three Board of Education seats are up for election, each carrying a three‑year term.
To appear on the ballot, candidates must submit a petition containing at least 25 valid signatures from district residents. All petitions must be returned to the District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026.
The district encourages residents who are committed to supporting students, families, and the future of Waterville CSD to consider serving in this important leadership role.
