Honor Society Students Support Local Easter Egg Hunt
On April 4, students in the Waterville National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society spent their time giving back to our community by supporting the Waterville Public Library’s annual Easter egg hunt.
In the days leading up to the event, the students worked together to fill more than 1,500 eggs with special prizes. On the day of the event, they teamed up with the Easter Bunny himself to hide the eggs all around the library grounds, helping create a magical and memorable experience for younger children in our community.
Voluntary contributions such as these reflect our honor society members’ strong commitment to the society’s four pillars: scholarship, service, leadership and character.
We are so proud of these student leaders for stepping up to serve their community. This event’s success is a testament to the strong sense of community in Waterville.
We hope all who celebrated had a wonderful Easter, and we wish everyone a bright and happy spring!
