Free School Meals Are Returning!
The Waterville Central School District is pleased to announce that meals for all students will once again be provided at no cost for the 2026-27 school year.
The Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES School Food Service recently confirmed that school meals will be available at no charge for all students at participating schools. This initiative is made possible through the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Through these programs, every student at Waterville Junior/Senior High School and Memorial Park Elementary School can receive free breakfast and lunch daily.
Since the District qualifies for CEP, families do not need to submit individual meal applications or paperwork to receive free meals.
However, we strongly encourage families to complete the Household Income Collection Form. Only one form is needed per household, regardless of how many children attend school in the District. This quick and secure form helps families save money on utilities and exam or activity fees, while also ensuring District schools receive essential state and federal funding that directly supports our students, teachers and classrooms.
