Educating the Whole Child Through Music: Jared Campbell Hosts Assembly at MPS

On May 7, students at Memorial Park Elementary School filled the gymnasium for a high-energy, musical assembly with award-winning singer/songwriter Jared Campbell.

While the event was filled with smiles and song, it also served a deeper purpose. Through original songs and engaging storytelling, Campbell captivated our young learners with messages focused on overcoming obstacles, anti-bullying, leadership and maintaining a positive outlook on life.

By addressing emotional intelligence, resilience and personal responsibility, Campbell’s presentation provided students with the social-emotional tools they need to flourish. Additionally, the core themes of Campbell’s performance perfectly reinforced the principles of Memorial Park Elementary School’s Positivity Project initiative.

This event reflects the Waterville Central School District's mission and reinforces the character-building work our students do every day. A huge thank you to Jared Campbell for sharing his incredible talents, energy and uplifting messages with our school community!
