Karen Hinderling, Principal of Memorial Park Elementary School

Karen Hinderling spent the first 20 years of her career teaching elementary school, mostly in second and fourth grade at NA Walbran Elementary School in Oriskany. 

After leaving the classroom, she spent five years as a teacher on special assignment, where she worked as an instructional coach, new teacher mentor program coordinator, and response to intervention specialist also in the Oriskany Central School District.

She then served as the director of technology and the elementary principal at NA Walbran Elementary School. 

In 2020, Ms. Hinderling left Oriskany to work for the Mohawk Regional Information Center (MORIC) as an educational technology leader in the Holland Patent School District.   

She was named principal of Memorial Park Elementary School in June 2021.

Ms. Hinderling has three sons. She enjoys traveling with her family and reading in her free time.
